BC Low has been a teacher-cum-practitioner in technical analysis since the 1980’s. He is one of Singapore’s earliest practitioners to attain the Chartered Market Technician credentials from Market Technicians' Associations, New York.
In 2014, BC published his first book on his original approach in technical analysis, “Integrating Technical Analysis for the Investor”. The ebook turned out to be a best seller and continues to be sold globally online in more than 20 countries.
In 2018, BC wrote the coursebook & ancilliary course materials for the SIM (Singapore Institute of Management) Global Education’s Financial Trading Course.
In 2019, BC completed his third book “Market Timing for the Investor – Picking market tops and bottoms with Technical Analysis”. It is sold as an ebook for now and will be released as a print edition in due course.
From 1991 to 2011, BC was Senior Lecturer in Singapore Polytechnic, where he pioneered the development of technical analysis education. He created and taught two modules of Technical, the only formal TA courses in Singapore.
BC Low has been active in Singapore Technical Analysts & Traders Society (STATS) since the 1990’s. BC pioneered certification in technical analysis by launching the Certificate in Technical Analysis (CTA) in STATS in 2004 and the Diploma in Technical Analysis (DTA) in 2010.
Prior to Singapore Polytechnic, BC Low was the Technical Analyst for Merill Lynch Bank, and provided currency views to dealers, private bankers and institutional clients. Currently he continues to trade his own equity.
